PAWVO / YOUR INFORMATION
Privacy policy
What we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have.
Effective and last updated: 26 October 2026
1. Who is responsible
Pawvo is provided by BrandFinesse Limited, Dublin, Ireland (“we”, “us”), the operator responsible for the personal data described here. Contact support@90tolaunch.com for privacy questions and requests. This policy covers the Pawvo iOS/iPadOS app and the Pawvo pages at 90tolaunch.com/pawvo. Other apps have their own policies.
2. Information we use
| Information | How it is used |
|---|---|
| Account details | Your name, email address, Firebase account identifier, and authentication credentials enable registration, sign-in, recovery, and household membership. Firebase processes your password. Pawvo keeps session tokens in the device Keychain, rather than saving your password in its local account store. |
| Shared care records | Household names, caregiver names and roles, pet profiles, chosen photos, feeding and care notes, tasks, assignments, appointment details, clinic names, phone numbers or addresses you enter, and completion records provide the care plan and its history. |
| Apple subscription status | Apple handles payments and StoreKit verifies purchases on the owner’s device. Pawvo syncs the owner identifier, product and original Apple transaction identifiers, paid-through date, status and Apple signature time to Firebase so invited caregivers share access. Pawvo does not receive card details or store raw signed receipts. |
| Phone settings and cached records | Reminder preferences, scheduled notifications, cached care, and pending completion updates let the app work on your device. Exported files contain your care records. |
| Service and support information | Firebase processes network information such as IP addresses and user-agent details to operate sign-in and database services and prevent abuse. If you email support, we receive your address, message, and any details or attachments you choose to send. |
| Website requests | Our hosting provider processes standard connection/access information, such as IP address, browser request, and time, to deliver and protect these pages. |
Only submit information you are entitled to share. Avoid putting sensitive information about people in pet notes or photos. Pet health notes concern your pet; Pawvo does not request your personal medical records, contacts, precise device location, microphone, or full photo library.
3. Why we process information
We use account and care information to provide the service you request: maintain your account, connect your household, save and synchronise care, show history, and deliver requested exports and deletion. Where European data-protection law applies, this processing is necessary to perform our contract with you.
We rely on our legitimate interests in operating a reliable service, responding to support, preventing misuse, and protecting accounts for related operational and security processing. We limit this processing to what is needed and consider your rights. We process records when necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations.
You control optional photo selection and notification permission through your device. You can stop future photo uploads by not choosing a photo, or disable reminders in the app and phone Settings. An operating-system permission is a device control, not a requirement to consent to unrelated marketing. We do not use care records for advertising, AI training, or automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Account details are needed to provide the account-based service; without them you cannot use Pawvo. Other care details are entered at your discretion.
4. Sharing within your household
The owner and caregivers who join using the owner’s invitation code can view and update shared pet profiles, photos, notes, tasks, appointments, and completion history. Completing care records the caregiver’s display name, identifier, and completion time. Private account credentials are not shared with caregivers.
Treat the invitation code as confidential. Anyone with a valid code and their own account may be able to join. Owners can replace the code and remove caregivers. Replacing the code alone does not remove existing members. Removing a caregiver prevents future authorised server access but cannot retract screenshots, exports, or other copies they already made. Cached information may remain on a device until it reconnects or is cleared.
Notifications may show pet names and care details on the lock screen. Manage previews in phone Settings.
5. Providers and international processing
We use Google Firebase Authentication and Realtime Database to provide account and cloud-care services. The care database is configured in Europe (europe-west1). Authentication and provider operations may process information in the United States and other locations. A European database location does not mean all account or operational data stays in Europe. Google’s applicable processing terms and transfer safeguards govern its processing on our behalf.
Apple processes App Store purchases under its own privacy terms. GoDaddy hosts these public pages and Pawvo’s automatic account-deletion service in its Europe hosting region. For a deletion request, this service verifies your fresh Firebase sign-in and processes account, membership and shared-care records solely to remove account data and structured personal attribution. It does not process or verify subscription payments. Hosting processes connection and security information to run and protect the service. Email providers process support correspondence when you contact us. We may disclose relevant information where required by law, to protect people or service security, or to a successor operator with appropriate protections and notice. We do not sell or rent personal data or share it for targeted advertising.
Read Firebase’s privacy and security information and GoDaddy’s privacy policy for provider details.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep account and household records while the account or household uses the service, unless you delete them earlier. Subscription expiry does not automatically delete saved care. There is no automatic household-membership expiry in this release. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete your server account.
- Delete your account: In Pawvo, open More → Delete my account, enter your current password, and confirm. Before household setup, use Delete my account on the setup screen. Account deletion removes your account profile, sign-in identity, own household data, and applicable membership records. It is not just a deactivation.
- If you own a household: Your shared pets, tasks, appointments, photos, and other care records are removed for all caregivers. Export what you need first.
- If you are a caregiver: Other people’s household care records remain. The deletion service removes your structured display-name and identifier attribution from completion history in current and former households, removes your assignments and membership, and keeps completed-care state anonymously as “Former caregiver” so care is not shown as undone. Other people’s household care remains. Contact support about personal information entered in free-text care notes or copies outside Pawvo.
- Photos and copies: Replaced photos may remain in the household’s cloud records until that household is deleted. Other people’s exports and screenshots, or files you saved outside Pawvo, are not removed remotely.
The app reports completion only after the deletion service removes account data and the Firebase sign-in identity. Errors remain retryable. A minimal account identifier and deletion time are temporarily retained to block old or in-flight requests from recreating deleted records. Automatic cleanup runs after 24 hours, normally within 25 hours of completed deletion; service interruptions can delay cleanup. Deleting a Pawvo account does not cancel an Apple subscription; use the Apple subscription-management link shown before deletion. Firebase’s authentication systems can take up to 180 days to remove deleted authentication information from their live and backup systems; operational logs follow provider retention rules. We retain support messages only while needed to handle the request and related follow-up, security, or legal obligations. Any legally required retention is limited to the relevant records and period.
If you cannot access your account or want help with remaining personal information, email support@90tolaunch.com. We may verify your identity using proportionate information. Never send your password, session tokens, or invitation code.
7. Your rights and controls
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, object to use of, or receive a portable copy of your personal data. Update editable records in Pawvo, use More → Export care data, start account deletion in the app, or contact us for help. A shared-care export is not necessarily a complete copy of all personal information held about your account.
Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it for the future without affecting prior lawful processing. You may complain to your local data-protection regulator. In Ireland, this is the Data Protection Commission. We respond to requests within the time required by applicable law.
8. Security
We use encrypted network connections, protected device storage, Keychain sessions, and household access rules. These measures reduce risk; no service or device is completely secure. Protect your phone, use a unique password, and share household access only with people you trust.
9. Children
Pawvo accounts are intended for people aged 16 or older and are not directed to children. Do not create an account if you are under 16. Contact us if you believe we have received personal information from a child so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
10. Cookies, changes, and contact
These Pawvo pages do not install analytics or advertising scripts or set analytics or advertising cookies. Links to the main studio site, Apple, or provider sites are subject to those sites’ practices. Email links open your chosen mail app; they do not subscribe you to a mailing list.
We may update this policy when the service or our practices change. We will update the date and provide additional notice where required for material changes. Contact: support@90tolaunch.com.
